Union Hall to Be Home Location for Feasts of Persia

Lakeland, Florida, August 19, 2024 — Lakeland-based mobile restaurant, Feasts of Persia, is moving its home location just two miles north from its original spot to Union Hall, a premier music venue and private event space located in Dixieland just a half mile south of downtown Lakeland.

The Rahmani Family started their mobile restaurant business in December of 2022 and while Tampa Bay offers limited options for similar Mediterranean cuisines and traditional Persian food, Feasts of Persia serves unique Persian-American Fusion fare, which combines authentic Persian dishes with American favorites.

Their signature Kabob Burger has been featured in publications like the Lakeland Ledger and LKLDNow, as well as on television, where Feasts of Persia owner, Farhad Rahmani, was filmed doing what he loves on Spectrum Bay News 9 Chef’s Kitchen. They’ve also been highlighted on various social media outlets by @thelaltoday, @haven_magazine, and influencers @floridawithfive. Feasts of Persia was most recently nominated Best Food Truck for the 2023 Lakelanders’ Choice Awards.

This said, nothing has meant more to them than the support and encouragement of the local community who has praised them on Polk County Restaurants & Reviews, the Facebook group for local foodies nearing 70,000 members, their own Facebook page at feastsofpersia.com, and on Google, where #FeastsFan Laura said, "We ordered the Sampler Feast and tried everything. It was so amazing! The spices and sauces were so great, can’t wait to go back!"

Their bright desert oasis-themed food truck has become popular for its #FeastsFieldTrips to several hotspots in the area, including Downtown Lakeland. In between trips, Feasts of Persia either serves at its home location or has been busy catering private events, making the move to Union Hall, an event space ideal for both family celebrations and corporate events, even more exciting. At Union Hall, the growing “FOP Fam” can now enjoy spacious patio dining, indoor seating, a full-sized bar, and entertainment. 

Jeff Odro, Union Hall’s Director, is equally excited to offer the unique cuisine on site to complement Union Hall’s exclusive offerings. Union Hall boasts original 1920’s exposed terracotta brick walls, high open ceilings, concrete bar tops, and simple, yet tasteful art deco accents.
